CEREDERM® anchor is a self-adhesive silicone bandage that will act on hypertrophic scars (raised, red) and cheloidal (thick, firm, fibrous growth) in prevention or treatment.
The silicone bandage softens the scar and reduces redness. The mechanical action of the self-adhesive dressing flattens the scar and limits its development. As for its semi-occlusive effect, it improves the appearance of the scar.
The CEREDERM® anchor is a form of inverted T’ or marine anchor, in two 220 130 mm pieces. This form is particularly suitable for breast reduction or ptosis correction scars (adapts to the submammary fold and mammelon). The dressing is supplied in two pieces to allow adjustment of its position relative to the scars

INSTRUCTION
1. Remove the CEREDERM® dressing from its packaging.
Then cut it to the desired size, so as to cover the scar, respecting the perimeter by at least one centimeter.
2. Separate the two parts of the dressing (support and film) by removing them on a small surface so that they can be applied.
3. Position the adhesive side of the bandage on the scar, on clean skin, then remove the protective film, without applying tension.
Note that the CEREDERM® Band-Aid is water resistant, but it is recommended to avoid prolonged baths. It is repositionable and should be applied on dry skin.
